Unit for Morphological Analysis of Phenotypes
The facility was initiated in 2000 with support from the Wallenberg Consortium North (WCN), and operates as a service and competence facility since October the same year.
Service provided
This facility provides service for phenotyping of genetically engineered mice. The analysis is based upon histopathology. In addition the facility will provide training in mouse pathology.
User priority
The facility will give priority to projects funded by WCN. Other projects will undergo scientific evaluation according to the following procedure:
Small projects (maximum two week’s work) will be served on demand.
Intermediate projects (maximum four weeks) require approval of the Platform Coordinator.
Large projects (more than four weeks) must first be subject to scientific evaluation by the WCN.
